China Economic Report · 5G Power to Change the World

Recently an economic forum co-sponsored by NetEase Research Bureau, Netease Finance Think Tank, BRICS Think Tank CBGG, Jufeng Finance, Qingquan Research Institute gave a report about "China Economic Report · 5G Power to Change the World." Many people attended the meeting  in Beijing and debated in depth the development and future of 5G like Wei Hua, Vice President of Beijing Huasheng Tiancheng Technology Co., Ltd., Guo Yiming and many more.
In 2020, the eMBB (Enhanced Mobile Broadband) scenario will be commercialized said by Wu Chao director of the China Securities Investment Research Institute. There will be some new innovations like car networking, autonomous driving, and the cloud computing. The penetration rate of the entire 5G users will reach 30%, after 2023 said by Wu Chao. As the current progress suggests that the faster ones should be smart cities, smart homes, high-definition video including VR/AR, and car networking. There was a great speech in this meeting
“Dear friends, good afternoon, I am very happy to have the opportunity to share with you. It is indeed a hot topic to discuss 5G at the moment. Everyone is very concerned. The role researcher has been studying for a long time, and suddenly it is a good side to find that so many people are concerned about this matter overnight. On the downside, now the challenge itself and the opportunity coexist, standing at today's time to talk about two parts. First, the 5G industry has brought about some technological changes in the entire industry. Second, what challenges and opportunities are there for us.
I often talk about this picture on many occasions. The technical aspects have just been elaborated. I won't go into details. We have had many reports on 5G technical solutions and so on. The industry has shared with you from three angles. Especially after Huawei's business, we talked about 5G for a long time. How the industry has recently seen or influenced the whole industry. The history of mobile communication in the world has been from 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G for just 50 years, the era of big brothers in the 1980s, the 2G era in the 1990s, the 3G era in 2000, and of course China's 3G was only commercialized in 2009, but In fact, the core node of the global 3G network commercial is around 2000, such as Japan's commercial 3G in 2001. In 2010, 4G commercial, our China commercial 4G time in 2013, slightly later than the world, but much smaller than the 3G era. This year is the first year of 5G, just a decade of intergenerational generation, this is the cycle of global mobile communication technology development. So today we see all aspects of investment in communications. This is not driven by the simple will of the simple government. More is driven by the underlying technology. It is a very clear communication industry cycle. Communication is the most cyclical in the TMT industry. In the first generation, the electronics industry is shorter than four or five years. You can watch the iterations of mobile phones and so on.
You can look at 3G. If 2009 is the commercial 3G node in China, in fact, the time when the iPhone or smartphone business is globalized faster in 2006 and 2007, the first generation of mobile phones came out in 2007, and there is a terminal change first. The electronics industry's innovation, then the communications industry, the underlying technology iteration of the pipeline, and then gave birth to the golden age of mobile application outbreaks close to five years after 2010, such as mobile games, big data, cloud computing and so on. Although 5G is a very hot thing today, if you look back at the history of communication development in the past, it is actually a long cycle. Standing today, regardless of Sino-US competition or our investment and enthusiasm for 5G, it is actually a long time, this year is just the first year. Another point, the technical progress of the cloud management, the law is very clear. These two hard-innovated things, especially in the field of science and technology, are very much concerned by everyone, because the technology cycle has reached another round of hard innovation. The next step in business model innovation will come out, and 5G applications will change a lot after 2020 or after the penetration of the entire user.”

Top Updates on Quantum Computing in 2019

Quantum Computing Rigetti, an emerging company engaged in quantum computing research, expects to release a 128-bit computing system in 2019. This implementation will be a major advancement in the quantum field, and it will mark our distance from Quantum Advantage and quantum hegemony. Quantum Supremacy is one step closer to these two goals. Quantum Computing Quantum advantage means that quantum computers can perform computations hundreds or even thousands of times faster than classic computers, which means that once a quantum computer is powerful enough to perform calculations that the classic supercomputer cannot perform at all, the goal of quantum hegemony Realization will become a matter of course. Building a computing system with higher qubits is the basis for quantum computing to achieve the ultimate goal of quantum superiority and quantum hegemony. Currently, the field is rapidly developing. In 1998, researchers at IBM, Oxford, Berkeley, Stanford, and the Massachusett...
